1. The Service
Khulasa ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered meeting transcription service for Arabic-English bilingual professionals in the MENA region. When your meeting ends, we transcribe it, apply your corrections, and produce a bilingual transcript and English meeting summary. We are operated by Khulasa Technology.
2. Who Can Use Khulasa
You must be at least 18 years old to use Khulasa. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal right to record and process the conversations you submit.
3. Your Recording Obligations — Read Carefully
You are solely responsible for obtaining the informed consent of every participant before recording any meeting or conversation. Recording without consent is illegal in many jurisdictions, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Khulasa does not verify that you have obtained the required consents. You bear full legal responsibility and agree to indemnify Khulasa from any claim arising from your failure to obtain proper recording consent.
4. What We Process
- Your transcript text and corrections — stored encrypted with your key
- Your personal vocabulary — stored encrypted
- Your account information (email address, subscription status)
- Trial usage data (hours used)
5. Audio Is Never Stored
Your audio is processed in memory only. It is never written to disk, never saved to any storage system, and never transmitted to any third party in its original form. The moment your transcript is produced, the audio is discarded from memory.
6. Your Content — You Own It
Your transcripts belong to you. Khulasa claims no ownership over any content you create. By using Khulasa, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process your audio and transcript data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
8. Accuracy — Transcripts Are Not Legal Records
Khulasa uses AI to produce transcripts. AI transcription is imperfect. Transcripts produced by Khulasa must not be relied upon as a verbatim legal record. Do not submit Khulasa transcripts as evidence in legal or official proceedings without independent verification.
9. Encryption & Access
All transcripts and corrections are encrypted with a key unique to your account. We do not hold your decryption key in a form that allows us to read your content. Zero standing access means that even our own team cannot read your transcripts without your explicit action.
10. Trial & Subscription
Your trial gives you 10 hours of transcription, free, for life. Failed processing jobs do not consume trial hours. Upgrade to Pro: $10/month or $96/year. Billing is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.
11. Acceptable Use
- Do not record without the legally required consent of all participants
- Do not process content illegal under applicable law or the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Do not attempt to circumvent our encryption or access other users' data
18. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Contact us at khulasah.ai@gmail.com before initiating formal dispute proceedings.
